LITTLE LEAF MARKET

A really fun project that involved helping a nonprofit take a market from concept to physical launch, coordinating the creative, operational, production and logistical pieces to make it real.

Located in a SW Chicago dual-language charter school, Little Leaf Market was an experimental market born to serve its surrounding community [a historically food-insecure area] and serve as a primary outlet for a beautiful array of produce grown by the onsite farm production.

The market served also served as an educational hub for learners from the attached K-8 school. Upper grade students participated in a trial internship program, learning bits of business savvy, from recipe development and pricing to product research and development.
